THE STORY
Many strange things happened to NEAR Ecosystem's civilization a long time ago, and many urban legends continue to spread and instill terror in humans for decades. According to legend, horrific events always stalk the city, and flesh-eating night creatures known as Aswang begin to strike, eat, and prey on humans. They are known by many names, including Duwende, Manananggal, Tiyanak, and even Monsters of the Underworld. However, a Guild has been built and formed to maintain the balance between the ethereal and terrestrial worlds. They called it The Savage Girl Guild.
The Savage Girl Guild is a group of 6, 000 members known as Savage Girls who have formed together to protect the NEAR Ecosystem. They are born with knowledge and skills in the five elements of fire, water, air, thunder, and nature.
They are considered the NEARverse’s strength because of the superhuman abilities granted to them by the Deities. Their skills are limitless and they have shown great capabilities to ensure the peace and safety of the NEARverse.
One of the Deities (Bathala) named Agui—the goddess of fire, was granted the ability to use fire. The users of the fire element adeptly use it in both short and long range combat to slay flesh-eaters (Aswang).
The goddess of water, Agwe, also granted the element users control over all bodies of water. They use this ability to release water for various attacks.
Lihangin— the goddess of air, allows also the element users to manipulate the wind. They become more strong, quicker, and more resilient, allowing them to launch a massive wave of air.
And, Ribung Linti—the goddess of thunder and lightning—allows the element users to release bolts of electricity and harness lightning. They can release a blast of electricity and send it out over a wide area.
Lastly, Mapulon, the goddess of nature, gave the element users the ability to communicate and manage plants and trees. They can also heal living things like wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. This clearly shows why Savage Girls with this element are important for defense.
ABOUT PROJECT
The Savage Girl Guild is a collection of anime-style female characters as well as a story about Filipino Mythical Characters meeting in the modern world.
THE ARTIST
Jaypy is the artist and founder of the project; he is a concept artist and illustrator based in the Philippines. He is exceptional because he fuels his creativity through a passion for art, which he explores and strives to better.
To have a positive impact on the web3 space, he aspires to showcase his art style and create the best waifu that suits everyone's liking.
