NiFTy Minks

NiFTy Minks is a collection of 1,000 unique randomly generated stylish minks roaming on the NEAR blockchain. Kicked out from their natural habitat, these minks are looking for owners to take them in and since citizens of Paras are fond of cute animals, these minks are a great candidate for your digital pet avatar.

Initially, it was the potential of the NFT being monetized is what attracted me because I believe in the wisdom by Confucius that says and I quote “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”. Art is my passion, and that passion being a provider to my family makes it more remarkable, and it is the same passion that made me realize that it is not only about me making profit out of it, that I can also make a big difference out of my passion for digital arts.

Realizing that I can give back through my work of art through the profits from NiFTy Minks collection, and because I highly valued education, I looked for a beneficiary, and a particular scholarship foundation here in the Philippines caught my heart called “Make Kids Smile”.

Philippines being a third world country but requires a solid educational background for any job, it is highly important to obtain proper education. But since poverty is rampant in the country, children as young as 5 years old are already exposed to it and have to go out and make for a living. The same children who I believe are the rightful owners of the future.

I am committing to donate 50% of the total sales to the Scholarship Foundation, Make Kids Smile. As per this writing, 50% amounting to 100,000 Php or 2,000 USD has been given as an initial donation.

I admit I cannot do this all by myself, that’s why I am sharing my story with you. I am encouraging you to support my cause through my NiFTy Minks. TOGETHER, we can give these children a better future- a future that they truly deserve, a future that is rightfully meant for them.
